👨‍💻 About the Role

This is a high-impact hybrid role in a fast-growing premium tech accessories company. You will play a key part in both new product development quality and supplier/mass production quality, directly influencing product reliability and customer satisfaction. You will have real ownership, work with international teams, and contribute to raising industry standards.

Please note that this role will be situated at our office in Dongguan, China, working on-site from Monday-Friday. The normal working hours will be 9am - 6:30pm CST.

👋 About You 

As a SQE at Mous, you’ll collaborate closely with QC team, Engineering, Production and all suppliers, reporting directly to Eric, our quality manager.

You are proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning technical challenges end to end. You thrive in an execution-focused and fast-paced environment and play a key role in driving projects to completion with precision, speed, and quality.

🔑Key Responsibilities:

Support early involvement in NPD – participate in design reviews, lead FMEA, define quality standards, test plans, and prototype validation.

Bridge NPD to mass production – perform supplier audits, root cause analysis, corrective actions for production line and after-sales issues.

Create and maintain SIPs, work instructions, and train production & QC teams.

Monitor supplier and production quality, close customer feedback loop, and drive continuous improvement.

Effective KPl implementation for lead time in resolving critical issues
Demonstrated year-on-year continuous improvement

🤓Skills requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering, with strong exposure to both Supplier Quality and Product Quality Engineering (PQE).

Hands-on experience in new product development (NPD) quality support and mass production quality management in consumer electronics / mobile accessories.

Soft skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset

Proactive, resilient, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Excellent collaboration and communication skills (especially with UK design team, engineering, and suppliers)

High attention to detail and strong ownership

Continuous improvement mindset

Nice-to-have:

Experience in PFMEA, 8D, AQL system, and lab testing

Six Sigma / Lean certification
